Confession: We caught a bug this winter … the redecorating bug.
Rest assured, we tackled it with gusto. The result is the stunning new look of the 189 guest rooms at Hotel Monaco Denver. They’re being unveiled this week, and we want you to have an inside peek.
Inspired by the Mile High City’s urban and adventurous vibe, interior designer Susan Caruso plays with colors and patterns in each roomy quarter. Just look at how chocolate-and-persimmon geometric carpeting flirts with tangerine damask drapery accented by crystal drops.
Subtle camel-colored walls keep things calmingly grounded. But there’s no holding back the punch of the beds’ turquoise boudoir pillows embroidered with images of bucking broncos, and generously proportioned silver and teal velvet wingback chairs. Adding texture are mahogany benches upholstered in white faux crocodile, which beckon from the foot of the bed.
Surely you can feel our excitement.
