Traveling with Breast Milk? Store It Safely During Your Stay with Our On Demand Family Fridge Program

Traveling after recently having children lends itself to a unique set of challenges (probably an understatement) and a whole lot of planning. And, while family friendly travel perks and advice abound, parents who are traveling while breastfeeding are often overlooked or even mistreated.

We noticed a need. Parents were asking our front desk staff for a safe place to store their breast milk during their stay with us. We knew we had to do something, so, we’re rolling out our On Demand Family Fridge Program.

What is it, you ask? Guests of our hotels can have one of our dedicated Mini Me Milk Fridges delivered to their room as a complimentary service, just by asking the front desk. The fridges allow parents to easily and discreetly store milk for their babies while staying with us, at the temperature required by the CDC (40 degrees Fahrenheit, in case you were wondering). The fridges are compact and can easily fit on a countertop within the room.

The launch of this program revolves around providing ease of mind for parents on the go. As business travel picks back up, more parents will need to be away from their babies, and we know how difficult that can be – both emotionally and logistically. We feel for parents, and we want you to know that we have your back.
