Riesling

For white wine lovers, a dry Riesling is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Check out the Trocken Riesling from R. Prüm, or if you prefer to keep it stateside, try the Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling from Washington State.

Beaujolais Nouveau

Fruity and flirty, Beaujolais Nouveau—released the third Thursday in November—pairs with so many foods, from roasted vegetables to sweet cranberry sauce. If you’d like something with more body and earthiness, try a Cru Beaujolais from the same lovable grape, Gamay.

The ever-popular Louis Jadot Beaujolais Nouveau has been present at the Thanksgiving table for years. For an interesting comparison, try a Beaujolais from Château du Moulin-à-Vent, Jean Ernest Descombes, or Michel Tete, all from different ‘crus’ of the area.

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is November 15th this year—pick up a bottle of 2018’s harvest for Thanksgiving.

Rhone Blends

Explore red Rhone blends to complement the turkey and starches at your gathering. You can’t go wrong with anything from the Famille Perrin for your Rhone fix. Start with a Côtes du Rhône or Vinsobres and explore their many selections.

Lambrusco

A slightly spritzy dry Lambrusco is also an excellent match for classic Thanksgiving dishes. Lambrusco has so much personality—try this light-hearted wine from Cavicchioli.

Rosé

Rosé continues to rise in popularity and pairs especially well with traditional Thanksgiving fare.
