The weather outside may be frightful but Kimpton lobbies from coast to coast will be delightful this holiday season. We’re adding an extra level of comfort and joy this winter, and making sure your travels are just a little bit more festive.
Fill ‘er up at the hot cocoa station.
Through February, you can get your morning off to a warm start with our enhanced complimentary coffee and tea service, which will now include gourmet hot chocolate. Nothing will make you feel more at home than a nice cup of cocoa, especially when you add in some housemade syrup from our chefs and artisanal marshmallows, and top it off with real whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Breakfast of champions.
Our evening wine hour will also get a holiday goose, with the addition of hot cider, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The spiked version features our own special concoction dubbed Rock & Rye: bourbon infused with vanilla, cinnamon, star anise, cloves and citrus. Yum. (Look for the Rock & Rye recipe, and other great holiday libations, in our upcoming holiday-cocktail blog post in two weeks.) In the meantime, sit back, sip and enjoy.
And finally, it’s time to get those visions of sugar plums out of your head and into the open where they can do some good. Just say the words “Sugar Plum” when you check in at the front desk this month and you’ll score a great perk. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice, “Sugar Plum” is this month’s Secret Social Password. You might get anything from free valet parking to tickets to a local event; you never know what the front-desk Santas might have in their bag of goodies.
