Hotel Palomar Phoenix is Open!

Destinations

You just never know where a Kimpton Hotel might rise up. Starting today, we’re spreading our wings in Phoenix.

We hope you visit us at Hotel Palomar Phoenix, which is opening its doors in the heart of downtown at CityScape, a new hub of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Across the street is Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks; and US Airways Center, an event mecca and where the Phoenix Suns do their thing. No doubt about it – it’s an exciting place to be and we’re eager to help make your travels more relaxing and fun.

Here’s a peek at a guest room. It has a warm, earthy desert vibe going on, plus a few small bursts of color just to keep you on your toes. We fell for the work of Phoenix artist John Randall Nelson, so were over the moon when he agreed to accent every room with an acrylic on canvas featuring the vibrant blue face of a long-horned steer.

The living room lobby has plenty of places to kick back and enjoy a glass of wine at the hosted evening wine hour. When it’s time to eat, we’re there. Adjacent to the lobby is The Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails, a contemporary American gastropub that does lunch, dinner and late-night bites. You can also venture to the third-floor terrace to enjoy the open-air swimming pool and alfresco Lustre Bar. Will it be a dip in the water or a dive right into handcrafted cocktails? You decide.

From now until September 3, we’re making it even more enticing to stay with us at Hotel Palomar Phoenix. With the special $139 and $25 to Dine package, you get a chic deluxe room and a $25 credit to use at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails or for in-room dining. Reservations can be made at hotelpalomar-phoenix.com.

We know Arizona gets hot this time of year – which is all the more reason you’ll warm up to us here in no time. See you in Phoenix!

I recently stayed at your lovely Palomar. It was a fantastic trip and I fell in love with the blue steer painting. I’ve checked John Randall Nelson’s website but do not see that it is available. Would you by chance know where I may purchase one of these?
    Thank you!
